No news to anyone who has been around in property management for a while. Average working Americans who need housing have again been ignored in favor of luxury-level, unaffordable, tax-dependent constructions.

The answer is not to sell Americans yet more unaffordable single family housing with interesting loans, which is the favored view of the NAR. Selling loans is not the only solution to a need for housing. Somehow, the obvious lessons from the Bush market meltdown were lost on some industry sources.
