The Midwest is filled with haunted places, but none may be more ghostly than the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee. This hotel — maybe the nicest in the city — is rumored to be haunted by the ghost of its founder, Charles Pfister, who passed away in 1927.
Considering that the hotel is more than 120 years old, there are plenty of stories to tell about this landmark building.
But a particularly good one was told back in 2013, when ESPN ran a story about the ghostly sightings reported by the players on Major League Baseball teams as they stayed at the hotel. Check it out here for a Halloween scare or two.
